Services In January 2008 we set out on a journey to establish a drama group that was
affordable and accessible whilst also fundamentally believing that the
performance work we do is of the highest standard. We are now rapidly being
recognised as the leading drama workshop in Leicester. OUR THURMASTON UNDER 12’S MEET EVERY SATURDAY 10AM-12PM AT THE DRAMA STUDIO, ROUNDHILL COMMUNITY COLLEGE, 997 MELTON ROAD, THURMASTON, LEICESTER, LE4 8GQ. OUR THURMASTON 12-16’S MEET EVERY SATURDAY 12PM-2PM AT THE DRAMA STUDIO, ROUNDHILL COMMUNITY COLLEGE, 997 MELTON ROAD, THURMASTON, LEICESTER, LE4 8GQ. OUR CITY CENTRE 12-16’S MEET EVERY THURSDAY 5PM-7PM AT QUAD STUDIOS, 78 FRIDAY STREET, LEICESTER, LE1 3BW.
Pricing: Our groups will meet once a week at a cost of £8.50 per child per session. Payments for the group are to be paid monthly on the first session of each month by cash or cheque. If your child is selected to be a part of the group they will be expected to attend each weekly session (obviously excluding illness or holidays but we will expect to be informed should either of these situations arise) We will give you advanced notice of any sessions we may have to cancel and obviously you will not be charged for these sessions. We will work on various projects together throughout the year and should we arrange any theatre trips or workshops with our sister group Inspire Academy in Nottingham, we will of course endeavor to do this in the most cost effective way. You will be informed of any such activities with notice requesting your permission. Urban Young Actors also offers workshops for schools and outreach groups in the East Midlands.
